Kit Review
We asked one of our club riders to review the kit after giving it a good try out as we had just switched to Velotec. Here’s what he had to say:

“I have to say I have been impressed with all of the road club kit, the quality is very good and I have had no faults with any of my items. The pad in the bib shorts and bib tights is of a very high quality and is better than the pads in any of my other kit! The Arm warmers material and winter jacket material are similar (thicker in the jacket) and are extremely warm. I would not consider using the winter jacket until temps drop below 10 degrees but think it will be essential when riding through the winter.

I’ve used the bib shorts and summer top the most so far and they are wearing very well, in that I can see no obvious indications of wear and they do not seem to be suffering from repeated washing.

I have noticed some slight differences with shipments. I have two pairs of bib shorts and on the first pair the bib is made of a white mesh fabric but the latest pair is black mesh (personally I prefer the black), not that it really matters as its not on show and the material is the same type.

Sizing wise I’m 6ft 0in and was 95Kg (15st) and Extra Large fit fine for me. As always with sizing it’s not just physical it is also part personal preference so this is my own personal opinion on sizing.

In Summary:
I would happily recommend the BCC road club kit to anyone. I believe it to be good quality and good value for money, plus it looks extremely professional when out on the road or at the cafe, especially with others in the same kit.”
